Long Time

It's been a long time since i have had time to be on here....Our lives have been very busy, especially with Elijah working on his 5th ear infections - so they are busy and sleepless - but i wouldn't trade them for anything - enjoy the updated pictures of the boys!!

Elijah is 3 months!

Well, he is really almost 4 months - but it's been a while since I have posted an updated picture! He continues to change every day! He is really talking and laughing now - espcially when Pop and Daddy tickle him!

Elijah's Birth-Day

You may notice that David's mom (Grammy) and my Dad (Grandpa) are not in the hospital pictures! Grammy was only able to come for a brief time to visit Elijah since they were keeping Noah for us (a big thank you to Grammy and Pop). And when she did make it up to see Elijah - they whisked him away for his hearing test. And the story on my Dad - he was scheduled for surgery on the morning of the 8th, and we had been kidding around for a few weeks that i would go into labor while he was in surgery - sure enough - that's exactly what happened!!! So, Dad wasn't able to make it to the hospital to see Elijah - but we did get to go home the next morning and took Elijah to see him.

Elijah Allen

Elijah Allen Burton joined our family on December 8th, 2006 at 8:18 p.m. He weighed 8 lbs. 1 0z. (mommy was very thankful that he was not the 9 lbs. that Noah was! ) and measured 20 inches. We were very thankful for a fast and safe delivery, and most of all Praise the Lord for a healthy baby boy! He is will be 3 months next week, but many of you did not get to see him as a newborn, so i'm posting a picture of him when he was only a few minutes old!

Welcome to our Blog! David and I decided it was time to start one since we have so many out of town friends and family (and friends and family in town too that we don't see very often). So many of you want so see pictures and want to know what we are up to, so since my time is limited these days to send all of you emails and pictures - this is an easy way for everyone to see how the boys are growing and what we are up to! By the way - Elijah is only 3 days old in this picture - that is why David looks so exhausted! I think i was still running on new baby adrenaline!
